Copy My Hard Drive with Norton Ghost 12

Here is the procedure to COPY MY HARD DRIVE with Norton Ghost 12.

  1. Start Ghost 12.
  2. Click Tools tab on the left.
  3. Click Copy My Hard Drive.
  4. The wizard starts » Next
  5. Select the Source Drive (usually your C: drive) » Next
  6. Select the Destination. This MUST be unallocated space on the second HD » Next
  7. Tick Check source for file system errors.
  8. Tick Check destination for file system errors.
  9. Tick Resize drive to fill unallocated space if that's what you desire. (It's your choice.)
  10. Tick Set drive active for booting.
  11. Don't tick Disable SmartSector copying.
  12. Don't tick ignore bad sectors during copy.
  13. Tick Copy MBR.
  14. Destination partition type: Primary partition.
  15. Drive letter: None » Next
  16. Finish.
